Happy China–Hangzhou  - Three Pools Mirroring the Moon

Three Pools Mirroring the Moon is also called Lesser Yingzhou. It is called the three islets in West Lake together with Mid-lake Pavilion and Ruan Gong Mound. The islet covers an area of about 7 hectares including the lake surface on the island. The south and the north of the islet are connested by a zigzag bridge. The east and the west of the islet are connected by an earth causeway. The lake on the islet is divided into four parts. Seen from the sky, the land on the islet looks like the character “Tian”. It has the featue of islet within lake and lakes within islet. It is a unique sight of the ten famous views of the West Lake and the masterpiece of water gardens on the south of the Yangtze River.
