The Wuyou Mountain is isolated by water. The Wuyou Temple on the mountain was built in the Tang Dynasty. Taking advantage of the mountain terrain, the temple is laid out in an ingenious manner. In addition to the stately Buddha statues, there are also superbly crafted wooden sculptures. They are considered paradigmatic works of art of ancient Chinese temples.
